Double Fame Weekend for Spartacus Legends

By Cindy Minguez, 2 years ago
Spartacus Legends has announced a double experience weekend good until 11:59 p.m (PST). February 17th. Any play done in the arena, single or multi-player, will receive the doubled-up fame. In addition, any gold purchased during this event will receive a 50% bonus. If you're new to the game, here's how fame works:
What is Fame?

Fame is a measure of your experience as a Lanista that can only be earned from arena matches. As a Lanista, you start out at fame level 1 and work your way through the game, fighting many battles to reach fame level 50.

Why do I want Fame?

Fame levels unlock access to better items, gladiators, missions, and upgrades. The more gladiators you defeat, the greater the rewards will become!

How do I acquire Fame?

Fame is easily earned by completing fights against gladiators. You will gain more fame by fighting stronger opponents and gaining crowd favor during the fight. Crowd favor is gained by landing consistent attacks on your opponent; taunting your opponent also gains crowd favor. Gaining crowd favor is essential for the survival of your gladiator and can make a difference between a modest victory and a glorious kill.
The makers of the game, Kung Fu Factory and Ubisoft, have also announced a series of fixes found in the latest patch for their gladitorial fighter; the patch went live last week.
Build Notes:

Daily Goals:

Daily Goals have been added to the game. These are timed goals that reset every day.

Silver Membership Restriction:

We now allow players with Silver Memberships to access the game except for multiplayer areas.

Misc Fixes:

•There was a bug in DLC 3 that make it so that fight requirements were not working correctly (e.g. you could use any style for a fight that had an unarmed-only restriction). This has been fixed

•High Fame level users experienced a crash during the connection process if they had too many gladiator database entries for gladiators that the game was trying to grant to them. This has been resolved and would only be noticed if a legacy account from June with a lot of database entries

•The Boosts screen was showing “Sale” art for silver boosts which was incorrect and has since been corrected

•Goals and rewards bug (constant rewarding of goal rewards, with no rewards actually recorded) is fixed with this build

•Category sale items in the LUDUS now work properly

House Banners:
12 new banner icons have been added.

Balance Changes:
Hit reactions animations for some attacks have been shortened so that hit players will not be stuck in a loop of hit reactions. Some attacks have also been reduced in damage.

•UP+STRONG ATTACK = shortened damage animation, decreased damage and stun chance

Perks
•Slaves confidence has changed: from “Unlimited defense when health is high” to “Extra defense when health is high”

Misc
•Changed drop rates for perks so that higher quality perks tend to drop in more advanced arenas while weaker perks tend to drop in beginner arenas.
•Increased rating values for the better perks to reflect their difference in power
•Hammers are designed to be stunning weapons, some of the hammer’s combos have increased chance to stun.
Double experience has already begun, so get out there and get swinging!
