Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Made Official

By Marc Hollinshead, 4 years ago
Last week, it was revealed that Batman would be taking the spotlight once again with the Xbox 360 port of 3DS title, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition. We knew it was coming, but the page was swiftly taken down shortly after the information was gathered. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment recently made the official announcement of the game and have given us a couple of extra details.

After gang-fueled uprisings occur within the walls of Blackgate Prison, Batman is called in to restore order and put an end to the rebellion before the chaos implodes. As the story progresses, players will explore deep inside the bowels of this remote island penitentiary and discover what happened after the events of Batman: Arkham Origins and learn more details of the Dark Knight’s past.
With updated visuals, a fully voiced narrative, new maps, improved navigation, a new hint system and a "captivating storyline", we're hoping that this will put our faith back in the Dark Knight after the not-so-well received Batman: Arkham Origins. As well as this, players will have the chance to unlock a new suit for Batman, the Zero Year Batsuit skin, by registering for or signing into a Warner Bros. ID (WBID) account. This will be in addition to all the previously released suits. A couple of extra screenshots have also appeared alongside the ones we showcased previously.

To summarize Marc in two words, it would be "Christian Gamer." You will usually find him getting stuck into story heavy action-adventure games, RPG's and the odd quirky title when he isn't raving about Dark Souls and Mass Effect. Outside the world of gaming, Marc attends and helps out in his church on a regular basis and has a not-so thrilling job in a supermarket.
