Achievement of the Month for March 2014

By Jonathan Barnes, 2 years ago
Before we set into the new achievement challenge format, let's see how we all did with a galaxy at war and unlocking the Unwavering achievement in Mass Effect 3.

Last week, on February 21st, 14,643 gamers (out of 69,341 on site) had unlocked "Unwavering".
The achievement had a base score of 50, a ratio of 2.18, and a TA Score of 109.

Today, on February 28th, 14,697 (out of 69,550 on site) have unlocked the achievement.
"Unwavering" retains its 2.18 ratio.

In the interest of community fellowship and high-value achievement slaying, we're going to shift from doing a small, "Achievement of the Week" UP to doing a higher-value, longer-investment, "Achievement of the Month". This will give the community more time to complete these challenges, allow us to do some larger achievements, and give the community the chance to organize playdates to take down longer, mulitplayer-focused achievements.

With that in mind, our first "Achievement of the Month" comes from our TA Game of the Generation, BioShock (Xbox 360).

BioShock (Xbox 360)HistorianThe Historian achievement in BioShock (Xbox 360) worth 115 pointsFind every audio diary.

As the highest-ratio'd achievement in BioShock, "Historian" also carries with it an amazing story. If you've already played BioShock but haven't found all of the audio diaries, you're doing yourself a small disservice, as they really help flesh out the story of Rapture and its fall.

The top solution for "Historian" comes from Greggie Smallzz who found a link on the net to maps showing the exact location of all 122 audio diaries. Furthermore, the second solution (from Maniac Thanatos) lists every single audio diary title as well as which area it's found in.

Good Luck!

If you have a suggestion for an Achievement of the Month, be sure to let us know in the comments. Check back at the end of next month for the full report on how our community did popping this achievement as well as the announcement of our next Achievement of the Month!
