2K Games wants you to know that the newest piece of DLC is available now for Bioshock 2
. Titled the "Protector Trials," this new single-player campaign add-on will cost you 400 Microsoft Points to enjoy. This is also the third piece of DLC available now for Bioshock 2 and the first single-player one released.
This add-on puts you back into the role of the Big Daddy with the job to protect your Little Sister from "swarms of corrupt Splicers who are hell-bent on stealing the precious ADAM that she gathers from corpses." I have not played Bioshock 2 (I have it sitting on my "to play" pile) but this piece of DLC sounds like Horde mode from Gears 2
or Onslaught mode from Bad Company 2
In this DLC package you will get:
* Six new maps: three unique difficulty levels, each based on favorite locales from BioShock 2
* New unlockables, including never-before-seen concept art and videos
* Seven new Achievements
