Droplitz Gets Dropped From the Marketplace

By Chewie, 4 years ago
A few particularly observant members of our community have noticed that, unfortunately, another title has been removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace in the last few days. That title is Droplitz, a puzzle game released back in 2009 that involved turning pipe-like tiles in different directions to create a path for "droplitz" to make their way into collector tubes. Unfortunately, no official reason has been given for the delisting, but it is most probably related to the developers Blitz Games Studios closing their doors forever in September. Other Blitz Games titles to see delistings in recent times include Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? and SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam!, although they could have been more related to licensing.

Anyone needing their Droplitz fix now will have to make do with the Windows Phone sequel, Droplitz Delight (WP), released in 2012 and so far still available to purchase.

Thanks to those eagle eyed members of the community who dropped this news on our doorstep.
