Star Wars Tables Coming to Pinball FX2

By Marc Caccamise, 2 years ago
By now it has become an incredibly common story, but even more DLC tables are coming to Pinball FX2. The new tables will all be Star Wars themed, joining the two already existing packs. It is worth mentioning, however, that since Pinball FX2 has reached the maximum amount of allowed achievements, the new DLC tables will not have any, nor will any other future tables. The new pack, "Star Wars Pinball: Heroes Within", will feature four new tables dedicated to Episode IV: A New Hope, as well as to C-3PO, R2-D2, and Han Solo.

Episode IV: A New Hope

The Episode IV table will be similar to the Episode V and VI tables, in that it will focus on the biggest events of the film. The main characters such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and a Stormtrooper will all be presented in 3D across the table. Different sequences, such as hitting the ramps to stop the trash compactor walls and flying the trench run in your X-wing, will be among the different themes of the table.

Zen Studios Pinball Designer Peter Grafl briefly discusses the character-based tables:
The Heroes Within tables are tributes to some of the biggest heroes of Star Wars, and I am so excited we were able to give dedicated tables to our droid friends C-3PO and R2-D2. Han Solo is a pretty big deal as well, and with so many memorable moments, he has his own table as well!
