Forza Motorsport 5 Heads to Long Beach

By Rebecca Smith, 4 years ago
All of the Forza Motorsport 5 updates and DLC packs have added cars and tracks, but no extra achievements. Today's "Long Beach Booster Pack" and update also brings along new vehicles and a new track, but breaks the mold by bringing along ten new achievements for a total of 200GS.

As the name suggests, the FREE content update adds the Long Beach track into every mode of the game, as well as adding new Career events, new Rivals and more multiplayer lobbies. Drivers vie for the number one spot over 11 turns and 1.97 miles over the full course, but if you prefer a quicker run, the shorter East Loop and 0.5 mile West Loop are also available.

As well as the new track(s), the "Long Beach Booster Pack" DLC adds five new cars for your racing pleasure. Alternatively, you can just ogle at them.

IndyCar driver Josef Newgarden took the track for a spin. See what he thought of both the new content and the game itself:

The pack arrives just ahead of this weekend’s 40th Toyota Grand Prix at Long Beach, so get ahead of the racing action by downloading the content today. The track update is FREE for all players. The "Long Beach Booster Pack" is FREE for "Forza 5 Car Pass" owners and costs $4.99 / £3.99 for those gamers who do not own the Pass.
