In a new trailer released ahead of their showing at this year's PAX East, publishers Bethesda Softworks bring us a mix of scare inducing story cut-scenes and spine-tingling gameplay for upcoming survival horror title The Evil Within
. The game, which is developed by industry legend and Resident Evil
creator Shinji Mikami under his studio Tango Gameworks, promises to inject new life into the genre with a mind-bending tale of psychological and physical horror as detective Sebastien Castellanos investigates a series of brutal murders and gets sucked into a warped world of hideous creatures, such as the Boxman, who features heavily in this trailer.
The Evil Within
is due to be released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on August 26th in North America, August 28th in Australia and August 29th in Europe.
