Xbox One Dated for Japan

By Rebecca Smith, 4 years ago
Last month, Microsoft confirmed that they would be bringing the Xbox One to 26 new regions in September. One of those regions, Japan, has now received a more specific date: September 4th.

So far, Square Enix is the only publisher to confirm their games that will be available at launch. These will be published by their Extreme Edges label.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (Xbox One)
Murdered: Soul Suspect (Xbox One)
THIEF (Xbox One)
Tomb Raider - Definitive Edition

Although the rest of the console's launch titles are yet to be confirmed, Microsoft did announce that these titles would eventually be available for Japanese gamers to purchase:

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Xbox One)
Batman: Arkham Knight
Battlefield 4 (Xbox One)
The Crew
Crimson Dragon
Dead Rising 3
Dragon Age: Inquisition (Xbox One)
The Evil Within (Xbox One)
Final Fantasy XV
Forza Motorsport 5
Halo (Xbox One)
Halo: Spartan Assault (Xbox One)
Killer Instinct
Kinect Sports Rivals
LocoCycle (Xbox One)
Max: The Curse of Brotherhood (Xbox One)
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (Xbox One)
Minecraft: Xbox One Edition
Need for Speed Rivals (Xbox One)
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare (Xbox One)
Powerstar Golf
Project Spark (Xbox One)
Quantum Break
Ryse: Son of Rome
Strider (Xbox One)
Sunset Overdrive
Titanfall (Xbox One)
Watch_Dogs (Xbox One)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Wolfenstein: The New Order (Xbox One)
Zoo Tycoon (Xbox One)

Does this mean that the rest of the 25 countries will see the Xbox One launch on this date? We're not sure yet, but we'll keep an eye open for more news and we'll let you know when we find anything.
