HB Studios announced its upcoming golf simulation title, The Golf Club
, in January this year. Since the initial announcement, the developer has made it clear that they want to ensure that gamers get to know every aspect of the game. As a result, a bunch of tutorial videos have been released over the last four months explaining everything there is to know about course creation, from green
It is unsurprising that the course creator tool has been the focus of attention thus far, given that it is the game's main selling point; however, the developer has changed its focal point now as two new trailers demonstrate how players can utilise the controls to hit the best possible shot. The first trailer shows how to draw or fade a tee shot or approach to counter wind conditions or the contours of the course.
The second piece of footage explains the grid system that has been implemented to aid players on the greens. The grid system uses green lines to highlight a flat putting surface, with yellow and red flowing lines indicating a gradually more severe incline or downslope. White markers that move along the coloured lines are used to suggest how much 'break' to allow for when lining up a putt.
The Golf Club
is due to swing into action soon on the Xbox One.
