Turn 10 Studios are at it again. Keeping with their promise of making the most authentic racing experiences possible, they have teamed up with Tanner Foust. This renowned driver has already worked with Forza
for some years, from a trailer for Forza Motorsport 4
to the more recent "Film Speed"
project for Forza Motorsport 5
Foust said he was "excited to be working with Forza" and that it has been a part of his life "since its first release on Xbox". This news also brings a Tanner Foust Racing inspired 2010 Volkswagen Golf R into Forza Motorsport 5
for players this weekend, designed and tuned to Tanner's own vehicle. Tanner himself said that the "visuals and physics are as real as it gets without literally getting behind the wheel". Well, if a real racing driver feels like that, you know that Turn 10 have done a good job. Here's what the creator of Forza
, Alan Hartman, had to say:
The partnership between Forza Motorsport and Tanner Foust is one we’re extremely excited about. Partnering with a driver of Tanner’s ability is a natural extension for the Forza brand, which curates the best tracks, the best vehicles, and the best racing. Tanner is one of the world’s most celebrated drivers, and our fans will be excited to see him be an ambassador for the Forza brand
The free Tanner-inspired car will be available in-game for free this weekend to coincide with the Global Rallycross contest. So what are you waiting for?
