EA Sports UFC Trailer Designs Fighters

EA have released a new trailer for their upcoming fighter, EA SPORTS UFC, which takes a break from roster reveals and brutal combat, and focuses on a bit of development behind the game.

Designing fighters for EA Sports UFC requires details to be as precise as possible, from the overall shape and size of the fighter, to the smallest scar on their body. Using real-life fighters, EA takes their next-gen technology and goes all the way with making the most authentic fighting experience that players will soon be able to get their hands on. Check out more details from EA followed by the video, as Guy Cocker talks to the game's developers and the scrappers involved on the process of designing fighters:

The capabilities of next-gen allow for more detailed scans of the fighters, with every tiny detail replicated in-game. From the tiniest blemishes to trademark fighting stances and styles, the level of depth when it comes to fighter design is at a point previously unseen in other fighting games. The effects of battle are clearly shown as the rounds pass, with fighters showing signs of fatigue, redness and blotchy impact marks.
A procedural tracking system means that the way fighters interact in the ring is realistic and typical of actual MMA combat. Combatant's reactions to their opponent are detailed in the way they move, their posture and the feedback they show to taking damage.

EA SPORTS UFC remains set for release on June 17th for North America and June 20th for Europe.
