Namco Bandai have today announced the seventh iteration in the Ace Combat series, set for release next year.Ace Combat Assault Horizon
is being developed by the same Project Aces team behind previous games in the series, and of course contain both single-player and online multiplayer. Besides that though, there's barely any other details that have been revealed. Namco have released a teaser trailer for the game - which you can see below - that suggests that this is a rebirth and revamp for the franchise, with the trailer specifically stating "this one's a game changer."
The trailer shows hugely explosive, fast-paced dogfights as you fly through the city, destroying buildings and environments and causing sky-bound mayhem. The trailer also shows off some helicopter combat, a near-death seat ejection and a frantic turret gun sequence, all creating a huge sense of chaos.
