NHL 15 Shows Off Its Players

By Marc Caccamise,
The NHL playoffs continue to push forward, as Wednesday will see the start of the Stanley Cup Final between the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers. Things have been less active on the NHL 15 front, however, as there has been relatively no news on the game since its revelation almost a month ago.

Voting between the Bruins' Patrice Bergeron and the Canadiens' P.K. Subban for the cover of NHL 15 has come to a close, with the announcement of the winner coming soon, and so it is the perfect time for the first screenshot from the game to surface. The screen shows off the in-game player models of San Jose Sharks forward Joe Thornton and and defenseman Scott Hannan, and even shows some fan models, although blurry, in the background. Thornton has never looked better in any installments of the NHL franchise, and the 9,000 different fan models that NHL 15 will feature are surely diversifying its appearance.

NHL 15 returns to the ice when it releases on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 later this year.
