Rise of the Tomb Raider Announced

With the reboot of a classic franchise last year when Tomb Raider was released, it made us wonder where things could go from there. What new adventures will Lara Croft embark upon? It looks like we're going to find out. Thanks to E3, the next chapter in Ms. Croft's life has been revealed: Rise of the Tomb Raider.

In her first adventure, Lara had to adapt and become a true survivor. In this next title, she'll have to refine her new-found skills and realise her destiny as a true tomb raider. The game will be building on the previous instalment's formula as well as the return of Camilla Luddington to voice the leading lady. The same writers will also be working with the devs to nail this next chapter and explore Lara's inner turmoil so another engrossing tale can be created. Darrell Gallagher, Head of Product Development and Western Studios at Square Enix had this to say:

With the power of the new generation, and our proprietary Foundation engine, our high octane action moments will be even more epic. Multiple locations around the world will be filled with exploration spaces that are some of the most beautifully hostile places on earth and over three times larger than we could achieve before. Our digital actors will rival CG quality, and after hearing the cry from our fans loud and clear, we will put the tombs back into Tomb Raider, all in our gritty Survival-Action style.
Courtesy of E3, we are also able to give you the announcement trailer to rev up the excitement.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be rising onto shelves in the Holiday season of 2015.

To summarize Marc in two words, it would be "Christian Gamer." You will usually find him getting stuck into story heavy action-adventure games, RPG's and the odd quirky title when he isn't raving about Dark Souls and Mass Effect. Outside the world of gaming, Marc attends and helps out in his church on a regular basis and has a not-so thrilling job in a supermarket.
