One of the more difficult elements of E3, if you're a game publisher, is keeping things relatively quiet so that your announcement makes a splash on the big stage. One of the easier way to accomplish this is to nestle a smaller, new IP among the many big announcements. Such was the case when Ori and the Blind Forest
made its debut
during Microsoft's E3 press conference. A vast departure from most of the other showcased titles, many were immediately drawn to Ori's stunning, and sad, trailer.
Now that we've had time to absorb the trailer's aesthetics, several screenshots and pieces of artwork for the game have also arrived.Ori and the Blind Forest
is scheduled for release in Fall 2014 on Xbox One. A recently released fact sheet also noted an Xbox 360 release for the title at an as-yet-to-be-determined date.
