Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Revealed

When Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix released Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on XBLA back in 2010, many gamers weren't quite sure what to make of it. Unlike typical Tomb Raider titles, Lara Croft: GoL was an action-adventure game presented in an isometric view. It also allowed for co-op gameplay. The game went on to fair pretty well critically, but that brand of Tomb Raider seemed like it would end there. Thankfully, that's not to be the case as Square Enix has revealed that Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be coming to Xbox One.

Lara Croft Screen 1

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris takes place in Egypt, where Lara has to work with a rival treasure hunter, Carter Bell, as well as imprisoned gods Horus and Isis, to defeat Set, an evil god. The goal of the game is to stop Set by acquiring all of the fragments of Osiris before he enslaves all of mankind. The game also marks a return to co-op play, though it will allow for up to four players to solve puzzles, avoid death traps, and collect artifacts.
