World Series of Poker: Full House Pro Events News

At the start of last month, the development team behind World Series of Poker: Full House Pro moved out of the feature development phase and moved into the support phase for the game. This meant that no new content would be created for the title, including skins, avatar items and title updates. While the game's existing events would be repeated "forever", there would be no new events.

This left players wondering what would happen to the events that were required for two of the game's achievements. Well, we now have news on that front and it isn't the positive outlook for which you will have been hoping. As there is no development or testing team, there will be no more Happy Hour or Big Game events. This means that these two achievements are now discontinued:

Of course, the equivalent achievements are now discontinued in the Windows 8 version too:

Microsoft wishes to reassure players that nothing else in the game has been changed and "the rest of the game's functionality will remain unaffected". Nothing else will be removed from the game.
