New DLC Coming to Skullgirls

By Michelle Balsan, 4 years ago
Reverge Labs is continuing to support their XBLA Fighter, Skullgirls, with the announcement of new DLC. At some point in the near-ish future, players will be able to choose Eliza as their fighter. The character is fully playable now, but animation is still in progress. To show us where they're up to at the moment, the developer has released a video of Eliza in action.

A screenshot from Eliza's story mode, which is promised to be the "biggest, deepest yet," was also released.

When Eliza is completed, she'll be free-to-download for three months.

In addition to Eliza, two other fighters were detailed for the title. The first is Beowulf.

Beowulf is a wrestler and will therefore have wrestling moves. He also carries a chair, called "The Hurting", that he can use in battle.

Finally, a "remix" character, Robo-Fortune, was also revealed. Unlike Fukua, Robo-Fortune will be "fully drawn over with her new design, and also feature new animations to make her look and feel significantly different from her flesh and blood counterpart."

None of the new characters have launch dates yet, but we'll get you that information as soon as it's available.
