Have you ever fancied being back in 1943 and being given the chance to save Winston Churchill? Well, now's your chance, as Sniper Elite 3
has confirmed that the new DLC "Save Churchill" will be coming to consoles.
This DLC will be set after the main story campaign, and follows OSS sniper Karl Fairburne on his adventure in discovering and attempting to foil a Nazi assassination attempt. Part one of "Save Churchill" has a city setting, but we are promised that parts two and three will "blow people away", with the African environments and what is going to be the biggest level yet for the game.
We are told these new missions are going to feel "very different" from what you may have thought of the Sniper Elite III
missions. We've got a full run-down of the DLC below:
- Save Churchill: Part 1 – In Shadows is a new singleplayer mission for Sniper Elite 3 with co-op support to be added soon. Parts Two and Three will release later in the summer.
- The Airstrip map is included in a free update, with three more FREE multiplayer also maps due later in the summer.
- The Patriot Weapons Pack includes three all-American favourites: the Springfield Rifle, M3 Grease Gun and M1911 pistol.
- All content will be published on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3 although release dates will vary.
We've got a whole load of new screenshots to go along with this announcement:
There's also the announcement trailer for the DLC, which gives us a little preview of what you can be expecting from the "Save Churchill" single player campaign, as well as the new multiplayer maps.
The "Save Churchill" DLC is out now on Steam, but we have no set date for a release on either Xbox 360 or Xbox One, but we will bring you anymore news on that as and when we get it!
