Last month we were able to bring you news about the first DLC pack
for the recently released shooter, Sniper Elite 3
. We now have some details and screenshots about the latest DLC for this title.
The newest pack contains the second of four free multiplayer maps promised for the WWII game, entitled "Lost Valley" and a new weapons pack simply titled "Sniper Rifles".
The new map promises to be one of the most diverse maps ever made for the series, including excavated ruins, a sink hole, shallow seas, dense jungle, and some perilous vertical terrain. All this is embellished further with secret tunnels and a multitude of vantage points. The map is designed to challenge players into making choices such as staying in the high but exposed mountain ranges, or whether they should risk ambushes from the shallows, tented camps, or the temporary airfield.
The screenshots below reveal how this will look in-game.
To make life a little easier, the rifle pack contains three historical sniper rifles, the Kar 98K, the M1917 Enfield and a specially modified Springfield rifle. All of these rifles will be available across all game modes.
The "Lost Valley" DLC is promised to arrive soon, although no specific date has yet been named.
