Game developer, Deco Digital
, have revealed their first-person puzzler, Pneuma: Breath of Life
. The title puts players into the "eyes of god" as they take on the nature of reality with mind-testing puzzles.
Play as Pneuma and listen to his comical self-obsessed inner monologue whilst he takes you on a journey exploring and traversing his puzzling world. Rack your brain and progress through a series of environmental challenges that require perception, observation, and lateral thinking skills to succeed.
While the player uses their mind to figure out the game's challenging puzzles, Pneuma will use the power of his mind to move, lift, turn, and rotate objects such as bridges and platforms, and also to unlock gigantic doors. As skilled and natural as you may be with a control pad, the real reward will come from how good you can analyse a situation within an area, and solve the puzzle or/and find your way out.
Check out the announcement trailer for a sweet sample of what's to come:
For those who may not be able to view the trailer, thankfully there's a set of screens to check out that showcase even more than what was shown in the trailer. The details so far are a bit on the thin side but the screens, which showcase different areas we will get to explore, seem to be hiding secrets behind some of those doors:
See through the eyes of a god when Pneuma: Breath of Life
releases on the Xbox One in January 2015.
