Showcase Mode Revealed For WWE 2K15

WWE 2K15, the latest in the long-running series of wrestling games, will have a new historical mode again, this time titled "Showcase Mode" and will allow players to dive deep into two of WWE's biggest rivalries, with lots of video footage and other details providing information to refresh the memory or introduce new fans when they play.

First up, Triple H's feud with Shawn Michaels, a storyline that ran from 2002 to 2004, and that some consider one of the best feuds in (relatively) recent history. So, all in all, a fine first choice. The second choice is no more or less worthy, but the circumstances surrounding it do make it rather interesting.

The other feud available on the game's release is the more recent John Cena vs CM Punk rivalry that ran from 2011 to 2013. Again, another good choice with plenty of great moments - CM Punk's "pipebomb" a particular highlight for some - but the very inclusion of the rivalry is surprising, with CM Punk leaving WWE on less than friendly terms.

As mentioned before, these seem to be the only two available on WWE 2K15's release, however there will be more coming post-launch as DLC, which sets up a great talking point. What memorable rivalries do you think will appear in "Showcase Mode"?

WWE 2K15 is due for release on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on October 28th in North America and October 31st in Europe.
