There's been plenty of coverage for Slightly Mad Studios upcoming racing title, Project CARS, but now is finally time for those interested to read the freshly revealed limited edition and pre-order details, and make a decision on what you want to order.

Let's start with the limited edition. Packed in a special steel case, the limited edition will feature an "exclusive visual" along with a book that takes purchasers behind the scenes on a trip backstage at Slightly Mad Studios. The book - Project CARS: By Racers 4 Racers contains details on how you, the community, were involved in the game's development to "create an entirely crowd-funded game". To top off the limited edition, players can get behind the wheel of five different legendary cars that can be taken for a spin in any game mode and also come with "special one-make series career invitations" to show them off in.

The five legendary motors waiting for you to fire up their engines are as follows:

• Ford GT40 Mk IV: winner of 1967 Le Mans 24H
• BMW M1 Pro Car: driven by legendary pilots such as Niki Lauda and Nelson Piquet
• McLaren F1: the legendary supercar from the historic manufacturer
• Sauber C9: the late 80s dominant prototype
• Mercedes-Benz AMG C-Coupe DTM: one of the most competitive DTM cars today
If these gorgeous cars are not enough for you, then this trailer is sure to help. Check out the video as each listed vehicle is showcased in all its glory, and the display of sheer horsepower makes your hairs stand on edge!

A Project CARS update just wouldn't be the same without a handful of gorgeous screens to add in. McLarens, BMWs, Mercedes, and plenty more are all on display either burning some serious rubber, or waiting ever so patiently to do so. The details on some of these cars are pretty sweet and the same can be said for some of the track locations as well:

Check out more details on each vehicle followed by a few screens full of pre-order goodness, besides the Ruf CTR3 which is being covered up!

The Ruf CTR3 SMS-R is a race spec version producing over 750 horsepower and a staggering 330 km/h top speed making it a truly unique combination of technical excellence and aesthetic passion. Being the second car available, the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster is an open-top hypercar with a monstrous top speed, racecar levels of downforce, and extravagant beauty to match its multi-million-dollar price tag.
