Digital Extreme has confirmed that their upcoming free-to-play MMORPG Warframe
for the Xbox One, which was first announced back in June
, will be released on September 2nd this year.
Alongside this announcement, the team behind Warframe
have released a video of their rowdy conference at this year's Gamescom; this fifty-minute show includes a sneak peak at the in-game environments on offer (with some fairly nice concept art) and some of the game modes. Given that the player will be controlling a member of the "Tenno", a kind of futuristic space ninja, there's a brief discussion on the parkour aspect of the game - as well as confirming that the player can indeed swim. There's also some quick clips of the creepy looking alien "Infested" enemy types, as well as the super-ninja moves that will be available to the Tenno:
