FIFA 15 Unveils FUT And Goalkeepers

By Megan Walton, 2 years ago
Listen up football fans, because there's plenty of FIFA 15 news heading your way. We've heard about the legends and we've heard about the leagues, and now we're introduced to the new goalkeepers of FIFA. We're promised goalkeepers that "look, move, and think like their real world counterparts" as well as being able to anticipate shots and show a new array of emotions.

Continuing with the positive changes, FIFA Ultimate Team is the next mode to receive more new features. "Loan Players" means you will be able to sign players on loan, playing them for a limited number of games to be able to see if you like the player or not. "Concept Squads" will mean that you can look at the chemistry between any and every player across the transfer market before purchase. "Friendly Seasons" will allow players to play five pre-season matches with friends and keep track of competitive stats.

Career mode also gets some new changes in the form of "Team Management". This will allow fans to customise up to six teams, alter tactics, formations and roles based on upcoming opponents. There will also be the chance for players to personalise their gameplay by assigning attacking and defending instructions to player positions. This will mean the ability to dictate the runs and defensive positions taken by each of the players.

Finally, players will be able to share their news, interact with friends, and redeem items via a Football Club widget. Accompanying this is a "Match Day Live", which will be publishing up to date news, announcements and league tables from around the world. This will mean players will be able to keep track of the various goings on in the football world, whilst still on the game.

We've had a nice set of pictures to accompany this announcement, showcasing some of the players, stadiums and various features of the team management.
