Just before Christmas last year, it was confirmed
that MX vs. ATV Supercross
would be returning to consoles thanks to publisher Nordic Games. Within the story, we also listed some of the team members that would be working on the titles. A new face has joined the team who will be offering his services with help from an authentic experience that not many people have.
Stephane Roncada is a former pro motocross racer and a 250cc East Champion. To put the cherry on top of the motocross champion teaming up with developer Rainbow Studios, Stephane has been in the game industry for 15 years and has already worked on the original MX vs. ATV games
. Stephane is very happy to be contributing to the upcoming instalment in the motocross franchise:
I’m thrilled to return to the MX vs. ATV team at Rainbow Studios. I enjoy making video games tremendously, but to have the opportunity to develop motocross games again is extra special. It gives me the opportunity to bring what I found most fun and exciting about real racing to many people at home, who might not have the opportunity to race Supercross for real.MX vs. ATV Supercross
Executive Producer, Ken George is also thrilled with the talent that's now on board to bring the most realistic and fun experience to the game:
We are very excited for ‘Ron Ron’ to join our design team of former Rainbow Studios developers, designers and artists. Adding someone of this caliber who’s competed at the highest level of the sport will only ensure a very bright future for the series.
The game's first set of screenshots has also been released. Take a look at the muddy motoring to come and see if the first impression tickles your biking fancy:
