Defiance Update Promised Later in September

Trion Worlds' Defiance was due to become free-to-play in July, but that was then delayed. Despite the bad news on that front, the developer has been pressing on with other changes to improve the game.

The team are promising that a big update will be coming later in September to bring new events and missions of a "truly apocalyptic" nature to the Aftermath game mode. This snippet of information is accompanied by a set of new screenshots.

Trion Worlds has stated that fans of Defiance can find more details about the upcoming enhancements on the game's official site. Ahead of the new update, we hope that we get the opportunity to share more information and media over the coming weeks.
