EA Access Receiving Several Updates in September

Today, EA revealed new information on several points of interest surrounding their Xbox One exclusive service, EA Access. Coming at different times throughout September, an additional 19 countries will be able to sign up for Access, a new game will be added to the Vault, and two more games will receive game trials five days before their actual release.

New Countries Receiving Access
Originally at launch the only countries where EA Access was available were Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States. Later this month, however, 19 more countries will be able to sign up for the service, including: Brazil, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, Portugal, Turkey, South Africa, UAE, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Greece.

Need for Speed Rivals Enters the Vault
At some point in the coming weeks, Need for Speed Rivals will be added to the Vault. Rivals will join Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, and Peggle 2 which are already available in the Vault. Just like the other games, Rivals will be completely free to download for members, and will be available anytime you want, for however long you want, just as long as you remain a member of the service.

FIFA 15 and NHL 15 Game Trials Coming Soon
One benefit of having EA Access is that members are able to download timed trials for different games, five days before their official release. Trials for both FIFA 15 and NHL 15 will become available in September, with NHL's trial set to be available this Thursday. Both of these games will have six hour trials, and any progression made or Achievements earned will be transferred over to the real game if you choose to purchase it. The first game trial to be offered for the service was for Madden NFL 15, and EA reported that gamers put in a total of 245,000 hours into the trial alone before the game was released.

EA Access is a service available exclusively on the Xbox One, and can be purchased for either $4.99 per month, or $29.99 per year.
