Back in May, EA released a trailer
detailing the various DLC packs that would be released for Battlefield 4
. At the time, three of those packs, "China Rising", "Second Assault", and "Naval Strike" had been released and the fourth, "Dragon's Teeth", has since made its debut. What all that means is that it's just about time for the final pack, "Final Stand", to hit the Marketplace.
Set to include four new maps - Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Giants of Karelia, and Hangar 21 - "Final Stand" will take place among an arctic landscape, but feature weapons that almost seem as though they are from the future. Players can expect to see a "Battle pick-up rail gun that fires a single round of powerful kinetic energy, and the hover tank prototype, which uses eight experimental jet propulsion engines to nimbly move around the battlefield" as well as other, as-yet-unrevealed vehicles and weapons.
"Final Stand" will be available to Premium members at no extra cost. Release date and pricing information for non-Premium members has not yet been confirmed.
