The Voice Announced

By Marc Hollinshead,
Everybody loves to raise their voices when their favourite song comes on, right? Well, gamers across the globe have been given the chance to do just that in the comfort of their own homes as Activision has announced today that The Voice will be coming later next month to Xbox 360. You do still own a 360, don't you?

Based on the TV show of the same name, The Voice will have you competing to impress the coaches and be the best voice around. You'll be able to experience the show with the Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds and, of course, the Finale and even engage in "Party Mode". In this mode, you'll either be teaming up with or going against seven of your friends and singing well known tracks from different genres, including Rock, R&B, Pop and Country. There will also be the chance to practice real-world techniques in "Voice Coach Mode" such as singing runs and harmonizing if you think your voice isn't quite there yet.

A few screenshots of the game have appeared to give us a taste of what we'll be seeing as we attempt to be pitch perfect:

To summarize Marc in two words, it would be "Christian Gamer." You will usually find him getting stuck into story heavy action-adventure games, RPG's and the odd quirky title when he isn't raving about Dark Souls and Mass Effect. Outside the world of gaming, Marc attends and helps out in his church on a regular basis and has a not-so thrilling job in a supermarket.
