Techland's highly anticipated zombie survival-horror title Dying Light
has finally been given confirmed release dates in a number of regions for 2015. These are January 27th in the Americas, January 28th for Australia and New Zealand, and January 30th for Europe and Asia.
For those that haven't been following the development of Dying Light
, this game sees players scavenging for supplies and weapons during the day in the urban wasteland of Harran, while fending off the occasional plague-affected monster. Once the sun does finally disappear over the horizon for the day, the situation becomes increasingly dire as the city's monstrous residents now come out to play in greater numbers and ferocity. At this point, the player simply needs to survive until dawn.
To renew hype, the developers have also published a brand new trailer showcasing the "natural movement" system baked into the game. Players will be able to use their parkour skills to explore, fight and survive in this dangerous open-world:
