New Details For Dragon Ball Xenoverse

By Megan Walton, 2 years ago
It's been a while since we last heard some news from Dragon Ball XenoVerse, which showed us new screenshots from the game as well as the character customisation. Now, we're got an announcement to share with you for new characters, as well as new details about your avatar. We are promised that these newly announced characters will have major importance within the game, but in what way isn't shared with us just yet.

Mira, the artificial creature trying to be the strongest creature in the universe, and Towa, a dark scientist coming from a demonic world, seem to be up to no good… They are currently planning to change the DRAGON BALL universe as we know it. Just like the evil magician Babidi in the past, they are trying to gather as much “Kiri” as possible. For what purpose…? Only Supreme of Kai Time knows. After discovering their plans, Trunks was looking for someone worthy enough to take on those new foes and stumbled upon YOU, the player. The Supreme Kai of time looks like a child but is far from being this young… Indeed, 75 000 000 years ago, this deity showed up for the first time and seems closely tied with the bird called TokiToki! Behind the disturbed and weirdly acting birdie, lies a very powerful life-form that can produce time!
Within the game, gamers will be able to pick a "master", which will influence the skills and fighting patterns that their Avatar will be able to learn. Masters will be the experienced characters such as Goku and Vegeta, and the master system can also be used to change sensei and intervene mid battle. This could mean a dramatic tilt for the battle in your favour! Accompanying these new details, we have a selection of new screenshots and artwork to share with you. These show off a number of different characters mid battle, in various different scenes.

There's also two new trailers for the game, the second of which is an extended version of the first. See your character take his role as the reclaimer.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but we still don't have any news of a release date yet. We will continue to keep you updated though!
