Beyond: Flesh and Blood
is a third-person sci-fi shooter set in a post-apocalyptic version of Manchester, the home of developer Pixelbomb Games. It seems rather appropriate, then, that the game's demo will be launching at the city's PlayExpo event this weekend. The game had previously made an appearance at last month's EGX event in London, but player feedback has meant that the game has received a few changes since then. To demonstrate these changes, the developer has released a couple of new screenshots showing the tougher gameplay with more enemies and the need for increased speedwork to be successful.
If that isn't enough, have a quick look at this previously released artwork showing PixelBomb's take on Manchester's Beetham Tower, as well as one of the game's mechs.Beyond Flesh and Blood
is due to be released on the Xbox One next year.
