Rainbow Six Siege Developer Diary Video

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege was announced by Ubisoft at this year's E3 event as the next instalment in the renowned stealth-shooter franchise. The team has now revealed a new developer blog, titled "Behind the Wall", where they will give regular updates on all of the aspects of the game, including topics such as "destruction, tactics, and shooting mechanics".

In this introduction to the developer blog, Community Manager Genevieve Forget explains that Ubisoft will also be shedding some light over the coming months on a few other ideas that caused something of a furore at E3. Those decisions include the lack of ability to respawn, touted as One Life. Members of the development team will discuss the inclusion of the Hostage Rescue game mode too.

Rainbow Six Siege is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and the game is scheduled for release on Xbox One in 2015.
