Ubisoft's upcoming instalment from their much loved Assassin's Creed
series is already looking to be stuffed to the brim with smooth gameplay, another indulging story, co-op action
, and plenty more. Assassin's Creed Unity
will be coming to next-gen only and is just one of the AC game's to be released this year. Recently, we covered details on the Season Pass
too, which contains even more goodness for when the title releases.
There's a lot to prepare ahead of the release so, thankfully, Ubisoft has released a flurry of videos to keep us schooled with plenty of fresh info on character customization and player skills. We are also treated to new gameplay to watch, a Q&A with the team, an inside look at the brotherhood, and more of the story in one of the new trailers.
Starting with a Q&A, UbiGabe answers community questions on the general gameplay. The questions asked cover topics such as in-game notifications, the assassin's hood and side missions.
As can be expected, the upcoming instalment will feature a rich and detailed story within the beautiful city of Paris. The French Revolution is causing chaos within the city and will make the game's main protagonist Arno Dorian's job a lot tougher as he makes his way through a deadly city full of betrayal, death, lies, and plenty more nastiness.
Diving deeper into the co-op side of the title, Ubiblog's Anne Lewis talks with a producer of the game, Lesley Phord-Toy, and takes us for a look 'Inside The Brotherhood'. As well as showcasing segments of gameplay, the two talk about the upcoming mission types including the Heists, which we covered a trailer for last month
. Check out the video full of sweet co-op action as well as even more details on player skills and customizations.
The fourth trailer offers an experience of the customisation and co-op to come. Adjusting player skills and making the right choices when customizing will prove to be successful when working co-operatively with another player. A tactical and smart tag team will customize their players to compliment one another and make short work of the challenges and obstacles to come in Assassin's Creed Unity
We finish up with another Q&A where UbiGabe sits down with the title's Lead Designer who is also in charge of Player Progression
, Benjamin Plich, as they answer community questions mainly focused on the upcoming player skills:
Assassin's Creed Unity
will be releasing for the Xbox One on November 11th in North America, and November 13th in Europe and Australia.
