This report is for the period October 27th to November 2nd 2014.

Hello there stats lovers. Before we get started, apologies that this here article is now over a week late and this week's is a couple of days late. Some dumb bantha brain rode into the back of the Falcon last week and most of my time since then has been taken up with fixing the damage and tracking said idiot down so I can sell him to the lowest bidder. Because the lowest bidder will treat him the worst. What's more, when the incident happened, a lot of my Ewok helpers, the Statisticles, just so happened to be partaking in a knife juggling contest. The clean up hasn't been pretty. As a result, these two articles will be briefer and less fur-filled than normal. We should be back to normal next week.

Games Started
47,986 TrueAchievements gamers started a total of 75,843 games between them (1,900 different games).

Kicking us off is this week's major new release in Sunset Overdrive, which pulls in some decent numbers with over 14,500 starters in first place. It's followed up by two other new titles, the "Games with Gold" freebie Völgarr the Viking with over 4,600 starters in second and the Dark Souls inspired RPG Lords of the Fallen with a more conservative 1,600 in third. The final new release is Costume Quest 2 (Xbox One), which only manages 600 starters in ninth. To me that is a travesty that must be rectified at once by you purchasing the game. Yes, you.

As more people cottoned onto its bargain-basement release price, classic port Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas leaps up from third place with 1,700 starters into the top spot with 6,500. It's followed up by "Games with Gold" offering Darksiders II, with the final two days of the week seeing that replaced by Viva Piñata: Trouble In Paradise, which shows up in fifth with only 500 starters. That's low for a freebie, even with only two days of it.

On the new release front, WWE 2K15 takes fourth place with a modest 600 starters. The Xbox One version was delayed in September to later this month so we'll see then how much better it does than these pretty poor numbers.

Thanks to a sale, Alice: Madness Returns takes seventh place with 370 starters.

The rest of the bottom of the table may seem confounding, with a bunch of older titles that, whilst popular overall, weren't on sale or anything. Well, like the Hexic HD issue in the last article, this seems to be due to all the new sign ups from the TrueAchievements app and how some of their offline achievements are popping up in these stats. I asked the Statisticles to look at it before, but they've obviously failed, so the question is: how do you want them to be fired? A - fired out of a cannon? B - set on fire? C - set on fire then fired out of a cannon?

Another Season Pass sale keeps The Walking Dead: Season Two comfortably in the lead, whilst other Halloween themed discounts put Slender: The Arrival, AMY and The Walking Dead on the table amongst the usual suspects.

Unfortunately, Costume Quest 2 doesn't appear at all here. Come on people!

Top Xbox 360 Arcade Games Started

Another week of no new releases means we get little change on the table, apart from sale title Final Fantasy III (WP) popping up in eighth with nearly 40 starters.

Top Windows Phone Games Started

Sales also Fishdom 3: Special Edition (Win 8) onto the W8 table, which is otherwise similar to usual.

Top Windows 8 Games Started

Games Completed
6,145 TrueAchievements gamers completed a total of 8,619 games between them (1,350 different games).

The completions for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (Xbox One) remain steadily high, whilst both The Walking Dead (Xbox One) and The Walking Dead: Season Two (Xbox One) also maintain their positions with over 300 completions each.

Costume Quest 2 appears as easy to finish as the first! taking fifth place with 130 completions. It currently stands at nearly 40% of players having finished it.

Top Xbox One Games Completed

With so many starters and so many people using their nostalgia buzz to power through it, GTA: SA jumps straight to number one with over 130 completions. Recent release https://www.trueachievements.com/Borderlands-The-Pre-Se....htm also jumps up from 50 to 100 completions, but it's not enough to raise it from second place.

Top Xbox 360 Retail Games Completed

That Season Pass sale keeps TWD S2 well afloat in first with 350 starters. The Ascend: Hand of Kul keep rolling in, with over 30 in seventh. The game has now surpassed 1,000 completions, but that still leaves around 35,000 people who won't finish it before the server closure today. We'll see those last few completions in a couple of weeks time.

Top Xbox 360 Arcade Games Completed

The achievement fixing patch keeps Microsoft Mahjong (WP) high on the table in second, behind consistently high Secrets and Treasure: The Lost Cities (WP) and above recent each sale title Rayman Fiesta Run (WP).

Top Windows Phone Games Completed

Secrets and Treasure: The Lost Cities (Win 8) slips down the table into fourth, leaving the easy Microsoft freebies to dominate again and easy recent sale title Rayman Fiesta Run (Win 8) to take third.

Top Windows 8 Games Completed

Achievements Won
100,748 TrueAchievements gamers won a total of 3,557,662 achievements online between them (73,520 different achievements).

Sunset Overdrive claims the clean sweep, as could probably be predicted by how many more people started it than anything else. It probably helps that the majority of these are also unlocked through natural story progression.

With its surge of starters, GTA: SA also scoops up a clean sweep. Whilst a few of these are story related, most relate to doing something for the first time.

Fourth clean sweep of the week goes to Age of Empires: Castle Siege (WP).

Top Windows Phone Achievements Won

Unfortunately, Microsoft Sudoku (Win 8) keeps it from being five for five on clean sweeps this week.

Top Windows 8 Achievements Won

Sunset Overdrive and GTA: SA give Action-Adventure punt up the numbers from 15million to over 16 million, whilst Shooter numbers drop. Elsewhere, Platformer climbs up from eighth to fourth thanks to Völgarr.
