Hello all! Over the past few weeks/month, you may have noticed that the Community Interviews have started to become more infrequent and for that, I apologise. While we try to stick to a 2 week gap between each interview, sometimes life gets in the way and candidates aren't able to reach the deadline in time. We were aiming to have an interview today, but unfortunately that is not the case and so I have decided to take the time to clear up a few things.
There is still a HUGE waiting list to get through, so if you're wondering when it is your turn, be patient, and do not
send me messages asking when it is your turn, as I will not respond. What I regularly do is message you a few days before the previous person's interview is ready to go out asking if you're good to go for the next one, then I will send the questions shortly after the aforementioned interview is published. This used to work but I have now decided that I will message you one week
before the next interview, meaning three weeks before yours. This should hopefully help each interview to stick to the deadline. Also, if you think that getting answers and pictures to me will be too difficult in a week/week and a half of my first message to you, please tell me instead of struggling in silence. If so, then I'll move you down the list until you have the time. Obviously, if I see that you're inactive on the site then you will automatically be skipped and when receiving my first message, please respond within three days of it being sent or I'll have to move on.
Finally, after the next interview that will be in two weeks time from now
, I will be taking out a couple of questions and adding in new ones. I'm sure there are better things to be talking about than your forum signature and the amount of times you do forced scans on the site in a day. It won't be a major overhaul, but just so that every question is interesting!
Apologies again for having no interview today, but life doesn't stop for anyone! If you have any issues with anything I have said here or don't understand something, then don't hesitate to send me, Marc Pilkington
, a message!
