Whatever you think of The Game Awards, let's be honest -- most of us tune in to see the game trailers and other announcements that are made in between the awards themselves. This year, Battlefield Hardline
was one of the titles to make an appearance, bringing along a story trailer for you to watch.
Also at the awards ceremony, musician Jamie N Commons performed his latest track, "Karma", which has been written specifically for the game and will be the game's soundtrack. Visceral Games' Steve Papoutsis had this to say:
The music, and moreover the audio help create that emotional experience you want gamers to feel as they play in the world we’ve built for them. With ‘Karma’, Jamie captured that gritty cop and criminals tone that defines Hardline, where not everyone is good and not everyone is bad, toeing that fine line of the law.
Finally, if you have some time to spare, check out the Battlefield Hardline
panel that took place at Playstation Experience over the weekend. The panel begins with the earlier trailer, but then continues to discuss the game's cast, the cops and criminals theme, single player mechanics and much more.
With the different direction that this Battlefield
title is taking, are you looking forward to when the game is released on March 17th, 2015 in North America and March 19th in Europe?
