Metal Gear Online Revealed in New Trailer

By Ashley Woodcock, 2 years ago
Revealed during the recent Game Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month, Metal Gear Online will be making its return to the Metal Gear Solid series at the same time that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releases. Developed by Kojima Productions, MGO represents the third iteration of the multiplayer component. The online will play similar to its single player companion The Phantom Pain but has been redesigned since its last appearance.

With a focus on Tactical Team Operations, the game features a ‘class system’ that more uniquely defines the strengths and abilities of player characters on the battle field. Key characters from the series including Venom Snake and Ocelot will also make appearances in the anticipated multiplayer feature.
The newly released world premier of Metal Gear Online is a beauty. There's no crazy running and gunning in this online world. Teams will need to communicate very smoothly with each other as they tactically take down their opposing team using an array of weaponry, gadgets, and crafty moves. Check out the trailer as Snake does what he does best, and even finds the time to take a humiliating 'selfie' of someone whose name MGS fans will all be very familiar with.
