Dontnod Entertainment, the developer behind Remember Me
, has released the first in a three-part series of developer diaries for their upcoming title Life Is Strange
. As you might expect from something titled "A New Beginning", much of the ten minute video is about how Life Is Strange
came to be. The video includes some interesting information about the game, such as Square Enix being the only publisher that didn't want to alter Dontnod's vision, with other publishers wanting to change major parts like the gender of the main character.
The first episode of Life Is Strange
is currently scheduled to launch on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on January 30th. Each of the five episodes will cost £3.99/$4.99 individually, or there is the choice of two season passes. The first "complete" season pass will cost £15.99/$19.99 for all five episodes. The other - costing £13.99/$16.99 - will get you episodes two to five if you purchase the first episode separately and then decide you want the later episodes.
