There hasn't exactly been huge amounts of news about the console version of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
, barring a small update
about a month ago. This all changed today, after Zenimax revealed the game's release date as part of the 7 minute long "The Confrontation" trailer.
Not only was the release date revealed, but it was also announced that there will be no in-game subscription necessary. However, judging by the box art, Xbox Live Gold does seem to be a requirement - as well as the rather obvious requirement of an Internet connection.
While no in-game subscription will be necessary, there will be the option of a monthly subscription called "ESO Plus" that will provide various in-game bonuses, an amount of crowns each month to spend on the in-game stores and finally, access to all DLC packs while a member of the service.
You'll be able to travel around Tamriel when The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
launches on Xbox One on June 9th.
