This report is for the period January 19th to January 25th 2015.

Hello, hello. Welcome to the second of this week's stats double-dip. If you want to see what happened the week before this one, go here. Then, when you've had a lie down to recover from all that number-based action, settle in for a little bit more right here.

Games Started
50,904 TrueAchievements gamers started a total of 78,048 games between them (2,060 different games).

Three new releases lead the table on the One. Well, technically two and a half. Sort of. The anticipated Resident Evil remake takes the lead with nearly 7,400 starters. Following it in second and third are a pair of Saints Row titles. The first, Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, is the complete version of the 360 title with 3,600 starters. The second, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, is a standalone expansion that can either be purchased separately or with Re-Elected.

Following the new release trio is "Games with Gold" freebie D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die, which has to settle with fourth and 2,200 starters as it nears the end of its freeness period. The top three games aren't the only new releases of the week. With a desirable price tag, indie title Riptide GP2 pulls in 1,300 starters in fifth. Showing up at the bottom is Sunset Overdrive, which gets a boost to over 900 starters thanks to the weekly discount.

We get a double dose of "Games with Gold" freebie Witcher at the top of the 360 table due to the game being split into two different regional versions. If you combined both entries, it'd push over the 2,000 starters mark. Not that it needs it, it's still at the top.

The new releases on the One don't outdo the "Games with Gold" titles at the top, with Resident Evil (Xbox 360) and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell (Xbox 360) taking fourth and fifth with 540 and 450 starters each.

Top Xbox 360 Retail Games Started

After The Walking Dead: Season Two (Xbox 360) led the table for weeks, it now slips into third, behind Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition. Apart from the same old titles that have been appearing for a while now, we also get Pool Nation in fifth thanks to the week's sale.

Top Xbox 360 Arcade Games Started

Not much new to say about WP as the majority of the table is very similar to the past few weeks. In fact, almost exactly the same, with Despicable Me: Minion Rush (WP) leading over other recent releases. Not that I'm complaining. Having so many newish titles on the table for a few weeks beats the months of having the same old stuff time and again like we were having before.

Top Windows Phone Games Started

It's a similar story on W8, with the top three unchanged and the rest of the table very similar to previous weeks.

Top Windows 8 Games Started

Games Completed
9,223 TrueAchievements gamers completed a total of 16,130 games between them (1,673 different games).

A new achievement-carrying Title Update gives Sunset Overdrive a bunch of new completions to go along with all its new starters. It grabs 470 completions in first place, above Assassin's Creed Unity, which continues to do well in second thanks to the "Dead Kings" DLC.

Top Xbox One Games Completed

The previous week's easy new releases, MONOPOLY Plus (Xbox 360) and MONOPOLY Deal (Xbox 360), both take the lead as the completions for MX vs. ATV: Alive slip it into third.

Top Xbox 360 Retail Games Completed

Telltale, yaddah yaddah, blah blah. It's probably going to stay like this for a while.

The completions for Warface push up from 55 to 70, going from fifth to fourth, as people rush to complete it in the last few days before the servers close. Next week will be the last time it'll appear so we'll see what that last push looks like then.

Top Xbox 360 Arcade Games Completed

After the previous week's update handed out achievements like candy, the completions for UNO & Friends (WP) keep coming, although this week's almost 60 is much more conservative than the 470 of last week.

Top Windows Phone Games Completed

The drop in completions on W8 means UNO & Friends (Win 8) can't hold onto the lead, instead falling into third behind old friends Microsoft Solitaire Collection (Win 8) and Microsoft Mahjong (Win 8).

Top Windows 8 Games Completed

Achievements Won
117,579 TrueAchievements gamers won a total of 2,190,532 achievements online between them (69,034 different achievements).

Four achievements are given by Resident Evil, including the top two. The rest of the table is Saints Row Re-Elected's.

Top Xbox One Achievements Won

With two games splitting the achievements, it's a Witcher fest. Interestingly, the same achievements aren't in the same order in both versions, with the top two switching places for the top spot. MX vs ATV, Resident Evil and Saints Row GOOH take the remaining three places in fifth, eighth and tenth.

Top Xbox 360 Retail Achievements Won

Last week's "Title Update" achievements for World of Tanks continue to be the most popular, again above TWD S2.

Top Xbox 360 Arcade Achievements Won

The UNO achievements drop off the table entirely, leaving Despicable Me and others to fill the spots. Asphalt 8: Airborne (WP) claims the most spaces, with five, including the bottom four.

Top Windows Phone Achievements Won

UNO also vanishes here and Asphalt 8: Airborne (Win 8) also takes the most spaces, but this time four, and this time Microsoft Jackpot (Win 8) leads rather than Despicable Me: Minion Rush (Win 8).

Top Windows 8 Achievements Won

After taking the lead from Shooter last week, Action-Adventure now very much secures that lead by pushing up from 15 to over 18 million thanks to the trio of One releases and, to a lesser degree, their 360 counterparts. The lead is also helped by Shooter seeing a dip from 14 million to under 12 million.
