Just over a year ago, it was announced that Blue Isle Studios would be bringing Slender: The Arrival to XBLA, thus marking the first time the game would be available outside of PCs. In addition to re-imagining the original Slender title, the XBLA port added new content, such as two new levels, to better fill out the title.
Today, Mark Hadley, the man behind the original Slender title, and the development team have revealed the release date for the game on Xbox One. It is set to include everything the XBLA release had, plus an additional story, which they've detailed for us:
In The Arrival’s all new storyline, Lauren is in search of her friend Kate, who recently has become increasingly obsessed with the folklore of Slender Man. Was Kate’s disappearance the work of Slender Man? Use Kate’s forgotten flashlight to explore abandoned houses, creepy mines and dark forests to unravel the mystery – all the while being stalked by the menacing presence of Slender Man.
Slender: The Arrival will be released on Xbox One on March 25th and will cost $9.99 or regional equivalent.
