Another new game has been announced from the ID@Xbox indie development programme at this year's GDC event. It is Caffeine
, which styles itself as a "quirky first person psychological horror adventure game with environmental puzzles".
The game is set in a future where the Earth's population has uniformly developed an addiction to the black stuff; coffee, that is. To keep the caffeine flowing, mining stations have been set up in space to seek out minerals that can be used to develop a synthetic alternative. The player awakens on one of these stations, a young boy with no memory of what has come before and no idea why he's seemingly the only person left on the entire vessel.
will be keeping you awake at night when it releases on the One this year.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Caffeine achievements.
