The Legacy Lives On In Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

By Rebecca Smith,
Gamers who have never owned a Japanese PSP will never have played Final Fantasy Type-0. Despite this, the HD remake of the title, which is set to release on Xbox One this week, will contain gameplay elements with which fans of the franchise will be familiar. This includes familiar faces that will help you along with your journey, as well as some familiar characters that won't be quite so pleased to see you. The latest trailer from developer Square Enix showcases these familiar elements as the Final Fantasy legacy lives on.

If you're one of the people who didn't want to go the whole distance and pre-order the Collector's Edition, you may instead have chosen to go for the FR4ME Edition, available from select retailers. This edition includes a unique FR4ME game case that allows players to remove and swap the front and back covers of the case using the provided art cards. In case you're not entirely sure how this would work, Square Enix has also provided a video for this edition:

Will you be visiting your Military Operation Organisation and Guidance Logistic Expert friends when the game is released this week? Pick it up on March 17th in North America, March 19th in Australasia and March 20th in Europe.
