Independent developer Wales Interactive (who are based in Wales, in case you hadn't already guessed) has announced that their Steam game Infinity Runner
will be coming to the Xbox One next month. Set on a spaceship called the Infinity, the game tasks players with trying to escape the ship after it has run into a spot of mischief involving space werewolves. It takes the endless-runner style gameplay of titles such as Temple Run
and puts it in the first person perspective with elements of parkour and martial arts thrown in. Fast reflexes are required to successfully navigate the ship, whilst avoiding environmental hazards and being eaten by said werewolf across fourteen levels.
If the mere mention of space werewolves hasn't piqued your interest enough, you can get a flavour of what all this means in the game's trailer and a lengthy series of screens.
races onto Xbox One on April 22nd for US$6.99 / £4.99 / €6.99.
