Kingdom Come: Deliverance Dev Diary Part 10

By Ben Crouch, 1 year ago
It's been nearly a whole month since we last heard from Warhorse Studios' medieval action-RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, so they've decided to bring us their 10th video in their update series. This time it focuses on introducing some of the new features in Tech Alpha 0.3.

Some of the new additions include the lock picking mini game, which is fairly similar to the mechanics in the stealth game THIEF, temporary voice over testing which has been added to cutscenes and quests, and basic perception for NPCs. The video runs just over 18 minutes, and is well worth checking out if medieval RPGs are your thing.

Dan finishes with talking about some of their new merchandising, including hats, t-shirts and even their own brand of beer! For those hoping for a release date, here comes some potentially bad news. They were originally aiming for the end of 2015 or within the first few months of 2016, but as time goes on and the game develops they've realised they'll need a few extra months before the final product is ready.

While nothing has been set in stone yet, Warhorse Studios are now hoping for a mid year release around Summer 2016.

Ben is sarcastic, immature and dashingly handsome! (Most people tend to disagree on the last part) He is 24, and lives in Melbourne, Australia. He plays mostly all game genres, but RPG's are his real jam. Priding himself in his overwhelming backlog of games on both xbox and playstation systems, he has finally acknowledged that he will never catch up and has time to only play the best of the best (Just don't check his gamercard, you may find a few Disney games on there that he insists his little sister played and not him, but we know the truth) He also works with Eb Games on the outside of TA during the day, and manages a Pizza shop by night. You can be sure the True Achievements web page is always open and ready to go on either his phone or works pc.
