By Chewie, 2 years ago
This report is for the period March 30th to April 5th 2015.

Welcome to the second part of this double bill of stats, this time covering the beginning of April.

Games Started
92,717 TrueAchievements gamers started a total of 171,184 games between them (2,103 different games).

With the beginning of a new month comes new "Games with Gold" freebies. This month, we've been treated to two new offerings on the One, Pool Nation FX and Child of Light. Pool Nation is the ore popular of the two, taking first with almost 23,300 starters, whilst Child of Light grabs third with over 18,400. Sandwiched between them is new free-to-play title Neverwinter (HK) with over 22,200 starters. Also newly released is the remastered sequel Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin in tenth. Unfortunately, neither Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones or R.B.I. Baseball 15 make the table. Instead, most of the rest of the table is other recent releases, as well as sale title LEGO Marvel Super Heroes in ninth.

Top Xbox One Games Started

"Games with Gold" doesn't quite make the top on the 360, with Gears of War: Judgment taking second with over 4,700, behind Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious (Xbox 360). As well as the usual older freebies, sales titles The LEGO Movie Videogame (Xbox 360), Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition (Xbox 360), LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (Xbox 360) and LEGO The Lord of the Rings fill up the bottom half of the table.

Top Xbox 360 Games Started

On XBLA, the extra "Games with Gold" freebie does lead the pack considerable, with Terraria (Xbox 360) grabbing over 6,300 starters. Apart from that, the rest of the table doesn't give us much to talk about as it's full of freebies and easy stuff.

Top Xbox Live Arcade Games Started

It's the old Windows shuffle again, with sale title Shark Dash (Win 8) popping up in eighth.

Top Windows Games Started

Make It Rain: The Love of Money (WP) takes a further slump, this time from over 300 to over 200. Like on W8, Shark Dash (WP) pops up, this time in fifth.

Top Windows Phone Games Started

Games Completed
21,245 TrueAchievements gamers completed a total of 31,766 games between them (1,788 different games).

The Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious rise this week, going from 10,300 to over 11,000. The relatively easy completion of freebie Child of Light (over 18% of players have finished it) puts it in second with 550 completions. The joint DLC and Title Update release for Sunset Overdrive puts the game in third with 360 completions. "After the Incident" has the same effect on Trials Fusion in fifth and "Ascendance" does the same for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in seventh.

Top Xbox One Games Completed

Forza F&F also grows its completions on the 360, this time from over 2,700 to over 4,300. Recent DLC helps boost both Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (Xbox 360), Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox 360) and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Xbox 360) in second, third and fourth.

Top Xbox 360 Games Completed

Recently released episodes for Tales from the Borderlands (Xbox 360) and Life Is Strange (Xbox 360) keep them high in the table, but they both slip behind Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons, which retakes the top spot.

Top Xbox Live Arcade Games Completed

Sale title Shark Dash pops up to second with its easy completion.

Top Windows Games Completed

Shark Dash hits second on WP too with Make It Rain holding steady above 60 completions.

Top Windows Phone Games Completed

Achievements Won
140,222 TrueAchievements gamers won a total of 2,933,948 achievements online between them (71,545 different achievements).

Four titles make the table this week, with Forza F&F taking the most spots but missing out on the top three to individual entries from Neverwinter, Pool Nation and Child of Light.

Top Xbox One Achievements Won

Nothing challenges Forza F&F on the 360, not even Gears.

Top Xbox 360 Achievements Won

With nothing to challenge it, Terraria claims the clean sweep on XBLA.

Top Xbox Live Arcade Achievements Won

Solitaire *yawn*. This time it's Despicable Me that disrupts the clean sweep.

Top Windows Achievements Won

We really need a new game on WP.

Top Windows Phone Achievements Won

After taking the lead in the previous week, Racing manages to maintain pole position, despite all the new "Games with Gold" titles. Neverwinter, Child of Light and Dark Souls all help Role-Playing take second, relegating Action-Adventure and Shooter to third and fourth. Pool Nation gives Sports a boost from eighth to seventh, a jump that probably would have been higher if it wasn't chock full of unobtainables.

Total TrueAchievements won by Genre
  • Racing24,947,657
  • Role-Playing18,873,478
  • Action-Adventure13,791,511

  • Sports3,702,179
  • Adventure1,934,627
  • Vehicular Combat665,638

That's all for this week's double bill. Next week, we'll be seeing if RIDE and Tower of Guns can challenge the tables (I predict no).
