Xbox One April Update Is Here!

The Xbox One April update has started rolling out to users worldwide. Gamers can now enjoy the following enhanced features:

- Game hub links have been added to the activity feed as well as the achievement app when looking at any specific game. This allows easier access to the Game hub, a new feature added back in February.
- Improved party chat now includes icons and notifications to help troubleshoot chat issues. Issue with your mic or internet connection? Party chat will now let you know when this may be the case and how you can go about fixing it.
- What's On is a new area added to the main navigation screen that includes a variety of curated content. Check out the latest game clips or popular YouTube videos, or even see which TV shows are trending if you've configured OneGuide. What's On is only available in the US, UK and Canada at this time.

Last but not least are improved achievement notifications. Now when an achievement pops you can immediately see the name of the achievement, followed shortly after by a brief description. This makes it much easier to know what you've just accomplished in-game without having to snap the achievement app or pause your game.

Check out the video above for a quick summary of the features from Xbox's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb.

What do you make of the April update? What enhancements are you hoping to see in the May update and beyond?
